POLAR-FORM has developed index drivers with clamp forces between 50 t and 500 t for over 20 years. Our rotary plates are used with injection moulding tools which are equipped with an index plate. The intention is to lower costs as multiple use of the drive is ensured for index plate tools.

Good to know:

An index drive is a drive which is flange-mounted on a multi-component injection moulding tool in an injection moulding machine. This drive excendet the turning movement of the index plate in the injection moulding tool. This rotation means the pre-sprayed plastic part (first component) is transported into the next station (second component).
